Chez Vous Music Studio is an online music school offering personalized instruction in violin, viola, cello, piano, and music theory. We teach students of all ages — from curious beginners to returning adult musicians — through live online lessons taught from our home in France to learners around the world.

We believe that music is for everyone. Our approach is rooted in encouragement, consistency, and joy — helping each student grow not only as a musician, but as a confident and expressive individual.

🎶 Meet Your Teacher: Chuck Junkin

Hi! I’m Chuck — musician, educator, and founder of Encore Music Studio.

I’ve been teaching for over 20 years and studied cello performance and music education at the university level before building a diverse career that includes music instruction, counseling, and educational leadership. I’ve taught hundreds of students in both in-person and online settings, and I still get excited every time a student masters something they once thought was out of reach.

In lessons, I focus on:

• Building a strong foundation of technique and musicality

• Helping each student find their unique voice

• Encouraging lifelong enjoyment of music — not just performance

My current students range from elementary homeschoolers to adults picking up an instrument after decades away. I teach in English, and I also speak French, Spanish, and Italian to support multilingual students.

Tony handles the behind-the-scenes magic of Chez Vous Music Studio — from scheduling and enrollment to website management and communication. He’s the first friendly face many families meet when getting started, and he’s passionate about helping everything run smoothly so you can focus on learning and making music.
